Meet our Board Members!
Jeffrey Litke
Board of Education Chairman
I ran for the Board of Education because I believe that a quality education is important for all of our children. It is an honor to have the opportunity to have a voice in providing that for our children and adult learners.
Something that I hope to accomplish is encouraging community engagement in our public schools. We our fortunate to live in a great community that supports our educations programs and I would love to see even greater involvement.

Ethel Grant
Board Liaison to Naugatuck High School
The goal of my term is to listen and bring to the table concerns of parents about their children: that they are loved, respected and are receiving a fair education. I would also like to see more improvement in our Math scores. Along with the Board, I will continue to monitor our progress and support our Superintendent and professionals tasked with bringing our program along. I also hope to be seen as a role model for diversity in education in our community. I hope that I can enlighten someone out there (future teachers and citizens) to see that Naugatuck is a culturally diverse community who is welcoming and wanting them to bring and share their talents to help make Naugatuck even greater.
