In order to perform its duties in an open and public manner and in accordance with state law, the Naugatuck Board of Education holds regular business meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Board of Education Room at 497 Rubber Avenue. Parents, students, and other community members are encouraged to attend. The Board’s main purpose is policy setting designed to improve student learning. Board members are interested in the public’s opinion on district issues, which can assist them in formulating policy that reflects community values and expectations.
