Naugatuck Public Schools consist of 1 pre-kindergarten school, 5 elementary schools, 2 intermediate schools, 1 middle school, 1 high school and an Adult and Continuing Education program.
The Naugatuck Board of Education (BOE) consists of 9 members, each of whom serves two years. Boards of Education in Connecticut have the unique role of serving as agents of the state as well as meeting the needs of the local community.
Naugatuck employs about 250 certified teachers and 200 other staff members including nurses, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators.
