HOP BROOK STUDENTS TO PERFORM ANTI-BULLYING SONG & DANCE

NAUGATUCK, Conn.; June 2, 2016 — All students at Hop Brook Elementary School, located at 75 Crown St. in Naugatuck, will perform a song and dance routine about bullying on Wednesday, June 8, at 10 a.m.

First grade teacher Debbie Langdon wrote the song to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Kathy Annenberg from CT Academy of Performing Arts choreographed an accompanying dance. The 4th grade leadership students, who have been working to promote acceptance, have taken their own time outside of school to teach the dance to the rest of the school.

Members of the media are invited to the school to photograph and videotape the performance. Interviews will be available.
